Dr. J. William Canavan is a native of Western New York. He graduated from Upstate Medical School in Syracuse and completed his pediatric residency at Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. His pediatric special interest is the evaluation and care of infants, children and adolescents reported to be victims of sexual abuse. He provides this care at a Children’s Hospital Clinic at the Child Advocacy Center in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Robbin Hansen is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin. After graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin, he completed his pediatric residency at the Women & Children's Hopsital of Buffalo. Asthma and ADHD are Dr. Hansen's special pediatric interests. He also enjoys biking, walking and teaching Sunday School in his spare time.
Dr. Susan Fischbeck hails from Central New York. She attended the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, and followed up with a pediatric internship at Rainbow Babies' & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She also completed a pediatric residency at University of Virginia at Charlottesville. Among her special pediatric interests are behavioral pediatrics, adolescent medicine, and gynecology. Dr. Fischbeck enjoys outdoor activities and gardening in her spare time.
Dr. Debra Ehrig came from Lackawanna, and attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, completing her pediatric residency at Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Tae Kwon Do, music and theatre are among Dr. Ehrig's favorite pastimes.
Dr. Lynda Stidham is a native of Amherst. She studied at SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, completing her pediatric residency at Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Her special pediatric interests include behavioral pediatrics and sports medicine. Dr. Stidham is very active in her downtime, enjoying hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Dr. Juliane Maciejewski attended the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School and completed the residency program at University of Cincinnati. She has been a board certified physician since 2005. Dr. Maciejewski enjoys spending time at Lime Lake and Keuka Lake with her husband and daughter. She also is a member of the National Ski Patrol. Dr. Maciejewski has done medical mission trips in the past and enjoys Youth Ministry in the United Methodist Church.
Maggie Bromberg, PNP (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) is a native of Kenmore, NY. She has an MS in Child Health from SUNY Buffalo. Her favorite hobbies include gardening, hiking, cooking, and reading.
Sandy May, FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) hails from Cattaraugus County. She graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Her special pediatric interests include obesity, immunizations, and diabetes. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys archeology, quilting, reading, gardening, and travel.
Melissa E. Smith, NP is a WNY native and received her Master’s Degree in 2015 from D’Youville College. She is enjoying general pediatrics. Melissa also is a certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). In her free time Melissa enjoys golf and ice hockey.
Tina Szulewski, PA is a longtime resident of nearby Holland. She graduated from Alderson-Broaddus College (W.V.). Orthopedics and adolescent medicine are among her special pediatric interests. Tina's hobbies include gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Amanda Walczak, PA received her MS in the Physician Assistant program at Daemen College. Her special pediatric interest is gynecology. Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children.

Amy L. Hackett, MS, LMHC attended St. Bonaventure’s Mental Health Counseling program in NYS. She works with children ages 3 to 21 through our affiliation with Child and Adolescent Treatment Services (CATS). Amy sees patients in the Springville office 3 days per week. Amy has experience helping young people with a variety of issues including behavior problems, adjustment issues, traumatic experiences, and depression and anxiety.
Springville Pediatrics is proud to offer the services of two certified lactation counselors on our staff to support and assist new mothers regardless of the method of feeding they choose.
